LANSING, MI (WHTC) – Forty-two hotels in Michigan including locations in Kalamazoo, Battle Creek and Grand Rapids are among more than 12-hundred where the credit and debit card information of customers could be at risk.
InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG) says malware infected front desk cash registers between September 29 and December 29 of 2016.
IHG properties include the Holiday Inn brands along with Candlewood Suites, Crowne Plaza, and Staybridge Suites. According to the IHG website, Holland’s Holiday Inn Express on Felch was not affected by the hack.
IHG is advising customers to contact the financial institution that issued their credit card and have any unauthorized charges struck from their balance.
