HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Haworth has been honored by the Lakeshore Clubhouse in Holland, Michigan for supporting their Transitional Employment services.
The program is one of several conducted under the umbrella of Community Mental Health of Ottawa County. Haworth was commended for demonstrating leadership and commitment to helping people achieve mental wellness and regain independence.
Haworth is a community partner in “Running for Recovery” which is a 5k fun run hosted by Lakeshore Clubhouse. The Lakeshore Clubhouse is a community of compassionate people working together to teach, build skills, celebrate accomplishments, and encourage self-confidence in those recovering from mental illness.
The recognition took place during the Annual Michigan Clubhouse Statewide Employer Celebration event on March 22, 2017. Haworth members Tina Pietrangelo, Laminated Products Plant operations manager, and Bob Wyszczelski, Corporate Security manager, attended the event to accept the recognition award on Haworth’s behalf. Arlan Meekhof, Michigan State Senator, along with Bethany Vukusic, Lakeshore Clubhouse Program coordinator, made the presentation.
