HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) -School funding issues dominated the ballots in Michigan in an election with low voter turnout.
In Holland, both the 18-mill Non-Homestead Property Renewal proposal and the a 10-year Sinking Fund for Holland Public Schools passed with just over 75 percent approved.
West Ottawa Schools operating millage passed with 76% percent approval and Zeeland Public Schools millage passed with over 75 percent.
In Zeeland Township, both fire and road maintenance millages passed with slightly more than 80 percent of the vote.
In Allegan County, both Saugatuck and Manilus Township road millages passed with Manilus Township at 80 percent of the vote and Saugatuck Township 75 percent of the vote.
Manlius Township’s fire renewal passed with 90 percent voter approval.
