HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The first day for overnight parking in the city of Holland is Monday, May 15.
Residents will be able to park passenger vehicles, motorcycles and trucks overnight on most City streets says City Manager Ryan Cotten.
“So it’s after Tulip Time we’re not doing any leaf pickup or there is no snow plowing heaven forbid.”
Overnight parking is from the hours of 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. Overnight parking restrictions will continue in the downtown area (generally between 6th and 10th Streets and between Maple and Lincoln Avenues) and along streets where parking is signed as prohibited.
Vehicles may remain parked between sidewalks lines of a public street, in the same spot, for up to 48 hours; and any vehicle identified as exceeding this time limit shall be deemed an abandoned vehicle and may be given notice and removed as an abandoned vehicle under the Michigan Code.
