HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – A Holland man is in critical condition after crashing head-on into a tree Saturday afternoon.
Ottawa County Sheriff Deputies and Firefighters from Allendale Township Fire Rescue responded to the crash around 1120 a.m. on Saturday May 13.
Sgt. Bob Ruster says 58-year-old Anthony Crowley was driving a 1998 Lincoln Towne car westbound on Fillmore Street just west of 92nd Avenue when he drifted off the right side of the road. When he re-entered the roadway he overcompensated, veered left on the north side and struck a tree head on.
Crowley was transported to Spectrum Hospital in critical condition. Excess speed appears to be a factor in the crash.
