HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – With Tulip Time now in Holland’s rear view mirror for 2017, one of the Tulip City’s “other” main attractions kicks off a new season on Wednesday.
There will be some changes at the Holland Farmers Market when over 90 farmers and vendors welcome shoppers to the 8th Street Marketplace at 8 AM. For one thing, the closing of the Holland Civic Center for renovation means that the market will spread east across Pine Avenue on Saturdays. The market offices will be in a trailer at the corner of 8th Street and Pine as a result of the renovation, and portable restrooms will be installed throughout the Marketplace. Finally, Sara Cozolino takes over as the operational leader of the Market, replacing the now-retired Candy Todd.
The Holland Farmers Market runs every Wednesday and Saturday from 8 AM to 3 PM through December 9th. More information is here.
