MUSKEGON, MI (WHTC) – A roller coaster at Michigan’s Adventure broke down on Memorial Day.
The Thunderhawk roller coaster had riders stuck in the coaster’s car for an hour and a half when it broke down. While the riders were waiting to be rescued, staff gave them blankets and ice water.
After they were rescued they were given free tickets for another visit to the park.
No word on when the coaster will be operational or why it broke down.
