ZEELAND, MI (WHTC) – Zeeland Fire Rescue will be conducting an emergency response exercise with other community response partners Thursday evening.
Throughout the year, Zeeland Fire Rescue trains its first responders to take initial actions to possible emergency events at industrial partners within the City of Zeeland. The exercise will give emergency responders and industrial partners the ability to put skills to the test.
The exercise will involve the following community response partners; Zeeland Fire Rescue, Ottawa County Hazardous Materials Response Team, American Medical Response, Ottawa County Emergency Management, Ottawa County Central Dispatch, and Vertellus LLC personnel.
Residents are advised of the increased presence of emergency vehicles during this time.
It takes place at Vertellus LLC at 215 N. Centennial in Zeeland on June 1 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
