ZEELAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – It’s mania every Monday evening in Zeeland in a good way.
Zeelmania is a community celebration with something for everyone. Zeelmania was created by Zeeland Festivals and the City of Zeeland as a way rearrange and draw more attention to downtown, and add a weekly evening activity to the community calendar; all while focusing on the importance of healthy living.
The theme and activities offered at Zeelmania will change weekly, keeping the schedule fresh and fun. Zeelmania takes place downtown Zeeland right on Main Street. Tonight Spectrum Health Zeeland Community Hospital is celebrating 90 years and you’re invited to celebrate with cake.
Tonight it kicks off with the 2nd annual color explosion.The explosion will take place at the corner of Main and Church Street in downtown Zeeland. At 6:15p.m. sharp they are asking everyone to wear white and something that they don’t mind getting dirty.The color explosion will be made out of color powder similar to events such as the “Color Run.” It is non-toxic and doesn’t stain. Other free activities like pony rides, clowns balloons, piñatas, troll characters, animals and much more!
