HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – A Holland man has pled guilty to a string of burglaries on Holland’s Southside that occurred last February.
49-year-old Scott Robert Cook was taken into custody on March 15 after police were able to connect him to the break-ins at five different Holland businesses. He was then charged with four counts of breaking and entering a building with intent to commit a larceny or felony.
On Monday, July 10th, Cook pled guilty to one of counts in 20th Circuit Court. The other three counts will be prosecuted separately during a juried trial on Aug. 8. Cook faces up to 10 years in prison for this single charge. He awaits sentencing until Aug. 14 by Judge Karen Miedema.
