HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – A “small” drain project will block off a Holland street to begin a new work week.
City Transportation staffers will be cutting West 23rd Street between Homestead and Diekema avenues, beginning Monday morning, for the effort that should be completed by Wednesday. Holland transportation department officials said in a statement that “this road closure is not anticipated to cause travel delays. Motorists will simply detour via 22nd Street, and local residents are already aware that West 24th Street is also close to through traffic for road improvements as well.”
West 24th Street between Graafschap and Diekema avenues, as well as between Van Raalte and Ottawa avenues, is already closed through August 11th for various street and storm water improvements unrelated to this project.
