HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – Does Sinterklaas wear flip flops and carry a boogie board? You can find out Friday evening at Holland State Park.
Along with the Holland Museum join Sinterklaas around the fire as the waves crash the shoreline. You’ll be able to hear the story of Sinterklaas, sing carols and you might even be surprised by a treat left in your shoe.
Connie Locker is the Education and Outreach Manager for the Holland Museum and says they are proud to participate in the Blue Star Program.
“It’s a national program in partnership with Blue Star Families, National Endowment for the Arts and the Department of Defense. Active duty military soldiers and their families are able to get free admission to Blue Star Museums from Labor Day to Memorial Day.”
Sinterklaas in July starts at 7 p.m. at Holland State Park and admission is free, but vehicles entering the state park are required to display or purchase a Recreation Passport.
