HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – Just where Holland goes from here will be before City Council members this evening.
Among the items on the agenda for the biweekly work-study session is a discussion of the search process for a new City Manager, as well as the “purpose and composition of Council/Interim City Manager Working Committee.” Greg Robinson stepped out of retirement earlier this month to assume the temporary operational reins of the Tulip City when Ryan Cotton stepped down at the end of June following a five-year tenure. Robinson, who had been an Assistant City Manager under Soren Wolf and Cotton, agreed to a seven month-long “interim” position while a nationwide search for a permanent City Manager is found.
Other topics on tonight’s work-study session, which begins in City Hall at 5:30 PM, include an update on the 2017 Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed Study Report that deals with low-income residents in Holland, as well as a review of the Community Development Blog Grant action plan.
