HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – A 76-year-old Holland Township woman who was reported missing has been found.
According to the Ottawa County Sheriff Office, the woman Moveta Kae Posma was found safe in her home after a deputy from the Sheriff’s Office re-checked the home at 5:55 a.m. this morning. Sgt. Brian Buter says she was being checked for any medical issues, but at this time appears to be ok.
Posma had last been seen around 1-1:30p.m. on Sunday August 20th. She was supposed to board a plane at Gerald R. Ford International airport at 9:30 p.m. on the 20th and fly to Alaska to see family, but did not show up at the airport.
Posma was then supposed to have a connecting flight in Chicago at 12:30 a.m., but did not make that flight either. Gerald R. Ford Police Department assisted the Sheriff’s Office in making contact with her scheduled airline and other airlines and confirmed she did not board a plane at either airport.
The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office thanks the media and public for their help.
