HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – This morning the Labor Day Boardwalk and Pancake Breakfast will have over 200 walkers in Holland.
The walk begins at 8:00 a.m. at the entrance of the Heinz Waterfront Walkway. It finishes at Windmill Island Gardens with a pancake breakfast. Busing is provided back to the Heinz Waterfront.
Proceeds of the pancake breakfast benefit the Sal Perez Scholarship Foundation says Jeremy Meyers with the City of Holland.
“Most of the time it’s a 50% scholarship to participate in our youth programs throughout the year. So it’s really been a benefit and we see it right now more than ever as this is one of our busiet seasons with kids signing up for soccer programs and football programs.”
Breakfast: $5/Adult, $3/Children, Free for children under 3
