FENNVILLE, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – A high school football coach in Fennville has been put on administrative after getting into a physical altercation with a varsity football player.
Fennville High School Varsity Football Coach Brian Sackett has been put on administrative leave for supposedly roughing-up the player The incident happened on the sidelines during Friday’s game against Coloma.
A witness says he saw Sackett grab the player near his collar, shake him, and scream at him after a tackle caused tension between a few players. In a post on Facebook, Sackett said what he did was wrong, and apologized.
The Fennville Public School District is investigating the incident.
