HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – The 17th Annual Tulipanes Latino Art & Film Festival welcomes thousands to celebrate the many contributions of the Latino community through art, film and music.
The festival engages the imagination through a variety of artists who bring their talent and collective contributions together for this celebration.
The Tulipanes Latino Art & Film Festival is now an event of Latin Americans United for Progress. Brandon Martinez is the Project and Program Coordinator at LAUP and says they are showcasing a variety of films from different countries. Argentina, Columbia, Brazil to name a few.
Award-winning films will be shown at venues around Holland. Films include shorts, documentaries, and feature-length, all of which explore a variety of themes in which Latino imagination and creativity approach humor, politics, culture, fiction and art. Most films are screened in Spanish with English subtitles. All film viewings are open and free to the public. The Festival runs September 21-24.
