HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – This year’s Mayors Prayer Breakfast held at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Holland focused on Holland’s deep religious influence.
With over 200 in attendance Thursday morning. Mayors Nancy DeBoer of Holland and Kevin Klynstra of Zeeland spoke as well as Leaders from the police force, schools, businesses and churches.
Mayor Nancy DeBoer spoke of all that is going on in the world today and in peoples hearts and minds. She says we are hungry for peace.
“Everyone of us is so hungry for that peace. That direction. For that clarity. And no one of us can have it on our own. We are completely 100 percent on HIS guidance one moment at a time. But the good part of that is that HE promise to be with us every single second. That he will never leave us.”
The Keynote address was given by ill be by Rev. Dr. Trygve Johnson who oversees the Hope Campus Ministries office.
The Mayors Prayer Breakfast was started in 2016 by a group of citizens passionate about the spiritual growth and unity of our community. Members of the planning committee serve as volunteers.
