HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – Holland Department of Public Safety is thanking the community for their help in identifying two men who recently dined and dashed at the Windmill Restaurant.
In a Facebook post the department says “Thank you everyone for your help in identifying these 2 people. The community working with us is the best way to stop these types of incidents.”
Authorities have not yet released their names, but in the comment section of the Department’s Facebook post several Holland residents have.
The incident occurred Tuesday at the 8th Street Landmark. The men were captured on security cameras as they dined and then left the restaurant according to the department’s Facebook post.
More and more police departments are using social media to address incidents such as this.
