HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – The third annual Nutcracker Ballet Tea will be held at the Holland Area Arts Council in November.
It’s a partnership with the Grand Rapids Ballet. The Nutcracker Ballet Tea is a story-time brunch in a winter fairy-tale land of ballerinas, nutcrackers and toy soldiers. Members of Grand Rapids Ballet Junior Company will dance vignettes from The Nutcracker. The performance includes high tea, delicious snacks and a box of treats for each child to enjoy.
Two performances for children ages 4 to 10 and their adult guests will take place on Sunday, November 19. Tickets for the Nutcracker Ballet Tea go on sale on September 28.
Admission for the 3:00 p.m. performance is $35 per ticket. Children 10 and under get in for $15 each. Discounted tickets to Grand Rapids Ballet performance of The Nutcracker are also available to those who purchase tickets to The Nutcracker Ballet Afternoon Tea.

Scholarship tickets to the Children’s Advocacy Center, Goodwill Industries, the Boys and Girls Club, Art for All and the Center for Women in Transition will be provided. The Arts Council wants to ensure that every child can experience the magic of live performance.
