HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – Hope College Democrats will host a gubernatorial candidate from the east side of the state.
Dr. Abdul El-Sayed will pay a visit to Holland on Wednesday, September 27. The town hall will take place at Hope College’s Martha Miller Center at 7:30 p.m.
Democrat El-Sayed is currently on a statewide listening tour. According to his website, El-Sayed is a Rhodes Scholar, earning a doctorate from Oxford University and a medical degree from Columbia University.
Abdul who was born in Michigan lives in Detroit with his wife, Sarah, a mental health doctor. The event is free and open to the public.
