ROBINSON TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – A two-vehicle crash between Allendale and Grand Haven last night hospitalized a Holland man and a Holland woman.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Cal Keuning and other first responders were dispatched to a Robinson Township intersection around 8:45. “Robert Boyden was driving his vehicle southbound (with a green light) on 120th Avenue,” the lawman explained. “As he approached the intersection (of M-45), Pete Ackley was turning westbound onto Lake Michigan Drive. As Ackley was turning westbound, the vehicles collided in the intersection.”
The 63-year-old Boyden and a front-seat passenger, 48-year-old Kristie Winters, were taken to Holland Hospital in stable condition, while Ackley, a 55-year-old North Muskegon man, was not hurt. Keuning added that Ackley was buckled up but that Boyden and Winters were not as the crash remains under investigation.
