CROCKERY TWP, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – A Twin Lake man is in stable condition after falling asleep at the wheel.
In the email to WHTC News, Sgt. Steve Austin of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office says 32-year-old Scott Stamper was eastbound on I-96 near 112th Avenue in a 1990 Oldsmobile when he fell asleep at the wheel. Stamper initially ran off the roadway, struck a guardrail and then lost control. The vehicle then rolled and came to rest on it’s side in the median.
