GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids has upgraded the Flood Watch to a Flood Warning for Ottawa and Allegan Counties.
The Flood Warning is in effect from now until 10:45 p.m. Tuesday, October 24. Rain is in the forecast through Tuesday and some areas will see significant rain of up to over 5 inches. Locations that could experience flooding Holland, Muskegon, Grand HAven, Allegan, Zeeland and Coopersville.
Areas that have already received significant rain from last weekend could see the additional rain turn to runoff and that could cause some local drainage systems to overflow.
