GEORGETOWN TWP, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – A two vehicle crash injured a 44-year-old woman in Georgetown Township.
Sgt. Cal Kuening of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office says that deputies were dispatched to the intersection of 14th Avenue and 44th Street in Georgetown Township at about 7:42 p.m. Monday evening. Stephanie Fogt was southbound on 14th Avenue as she approached 44th Street on a red light. Her vehicle struck another vehicle at an angle driven by 42-year-old Stacy Shilander of Hudsonville.
Shilander was injured in the crash and transported to Metro Hospital by Life EMS for evaluation while Fogt was released at the scene. Georgetown Fire Rescue assisted at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
