DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Red Wings and Philadelphia Flyers face off tonight at Little Caesars Arena.
Detroit has dropped four of its last five, including a 4-2 loss at Seattle Saturday.
The Red Wings remain in fifth place in the Atlantic Division with 57 points.
The Red Wings made some moves before yesterday’s NHL trade deadline. Detroit traded defensemen Nick Leddy and Luke Witkowski to the St. Louis yesterday. In exchange, the Wings acquired center Oskar Sundqvist, defenseman Jake Walman and a second-round pick in the 2023 draft.
Detroit also sent center Vladislav Namestnikov to the Dallas Stars for a fourth-round selection in 2024.
