HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – A march and rally to support the D.A.C.A. (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) program takes place in Holland today.
The event is organized by Hope College students to raise awareness of immigration issues and advocate for reform and a clean DREAM Act.
The March starts at 11:30 a.m.and will go from Pine Grove in the center of campus to Holland City Hall at 270 South River Avenue where a student and community leaders will speak. Everyone is welcome. Mayoral candidate and Holland Councilman Jay Peters has confirmed he’s marching today via his Twitter account.
