HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity is teaming up with local churches for the 2017-2018 Lakeshore Unity Build.
The Lakeshore Unity Build will bring together the churches along the lakeshore to provide the financial and volunteer support necessary to complete a Habitat home. The completion of each new home requires financial gifts and over 1,500 volunteer hours.
For the 2017-2018 Lakeshore Unity Build they will be building a new home for the Glidewell family. Kala Glidewell is a single mom to her 6 year old son Taavi. Kala’s goal is to become financially stable and to save for the future.
Ottawa and Allegan county church members are invited to join Lakeshore Habitat for the Unity Build Kickoff Meeting on November 14th at 6:00 pm at Ridge Point Church located at 340 104th Ave in Holland. Those who attend will have a chance to meet the Glidewell family, learn about the Unity Build process and learn the different ways to be involved.
