MUSKEGON, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – The U.S. Coast Guard rescued three people and their dog off the coast of Muskegon this weekend.
On Saturday morning the Coast Guard found the occupants of the boat up to their knees in water about three-and-a-half nautical miles northwest of Muskegon.
No one was hurt and everyone was wearing a lifejacket. The Coast Guard was unable to recover the boat that had partially submerged after the rescue. The names of the boaters have not been released.
