HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – Wednesday night’s City Council meeting was the first meeting for new Holland City Council members Scott Corbin and Raul Garcia, who were’ sworn into their Fifth Ward and Third Ward seats, respectively, on Monday after securing election victories.
Council awarding of the engineering and construction contract for the Hope Avenue Reconstruction Project in the Holland Heights neighborhood to Paradigm Design. Council has approved a $158,600 bid which was the lowest bid presented for the reconstruction that will take place between 16th Street and Paw Paw Drive. In addition there will be storm sewer work along Paw Paw Drive from Hope to Cambridge Avenue.
A public meeting will be held in December or in the new year and the reconstruction will start in the Spring of 2018. It will not interfere with Tulip Time.
