HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – As the official Holland Farmers Market season ends on Saturday, the first-year Market Master admits that “it has been quite a ride.”
Sara Cozolino says that Opening Day of May 17th “doesn’t even seem like (it was in) the same year” as she replaced Candy Todd, who had retired after 22 years at the post last December. “I learned so much from the farmers, from the customers, and just from working with my co-worker in here Liz (Lizzie Thibault) with all the food assistance stuff,” Cozolino explained during her final weekly interview on “WHTC Morning News” this past Wednesday. “It’s just so much to this job that’s really exciting and interesting, and I learn something every week.”
Cozolino added that some vendors may still set up shop for sales to customers the next two Saturdays ahead of Christmas. The Holland Farmers Market runs from 8 AM to 3 PM; more information is here.
