HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – The identities of an 18-year-old woman visiting the Lakeshore from the Quad Cities area and the 21-year-old Holland area man involved in a fatal SUV-bicycle crash on Monday night on Holland’s east side were disclosed on Tuesday.
According to Holland Public Safety Captain Rick Walters, Yen Ngo was westbound on East 16th Street around 8:30 PM when she apparently tried to cross US-31 on a red light. A southbound SUV traveling through the intersection on a green light struck her, and she died at the scene. The vehicle driver, Joshua Powers, was not injured.
