DETROIT, MI (WHTC) – A Holland teenager has a one-thousand dollar scholarship after winning the North American International Auto Show’s poster contest. This year’s contest drew 707 entries from 53 schools.
Brittany Bates is a senior at Careerline Tech Center and her design will appear in the official Auto Show Programs. Bates took the logo for the Detroit auto show and turned it into a neon blue design on a black brick wall.
Three other Careerline Tech Center students won a $250 prize. Best Theme Award went to Anthony Paul Timmer, Best Use of Color Award to Olivia Meloche and 2nd Place 11th grade Award went to Anna Sczcepaniuk.
Tickets are now available for the North American International Auto Show. Admission to the Industry Preview days of January 13th and 14th are 95-dollars, with Charity Preview tickets priced at 400-dollars per person for the January 16th black tie gala. The public show runs January 16th-to-24th, with 13-dollar tickets and children six and under free with an adult. Purchases can be made online at naias.com.
