HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The Holland Civic Center Steering Committee will hold a study session open to the public tonight from 7-9 p.m.
Holland Mayor Nancy DeBoer says things are falling into place. The online survey had over 2600 responses and they had a recreation program meeting and a well attended Holland Farmer’s Market workshop.
DeBoer says it is an intense process and the overall goal is to present a refinement plan to Holland City Council on March 7, 2016. She said they hope to have some type of approval at the city council level for a Civic Center plan on March 16, 2016.
Edgewater Resources has draw up the designs for the renovation of the Holland Civic. They were responsible for the work on St. Joseph’s shoreline, as well as the redesigning of the Harbor in Chicago.
The study session tonight is open to the public and will be held in the second floor training center of city hall.
