HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The city of Holland is re-examining its policy on alcohol at special events including those by nonprofits on city property.
Right now the policy is for each group to submit an application through the city council.
The Holland Sentinel reports at last night’s city council meeting the council examined how it approves those request and could develop an umbrella policy that could be approved by the council in the next few weeks.
Beer and Wine can be served without special permission from city council at several locations like the Holland Museum, Windmill Island Gardens and the Civic Center parking lot which is a temporary measure until March 1.
