WEST OLICE, MI (WHTC) – The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for the Grand River at Robinson Township in Ottawa County until further notice.
The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office of Emergency Management and the Grand Rapids National Weather Service are closely monitoring the level of the Grand River due to possible ice jams on the river at Grand Haven.
The river levels have risen significantly in Robinson Township. The Sheriff’s office says if residents along the river experience flooding issues they are requested to call their local jurisdiction to report it. If there is an immediate threat to life Safety they should call 911.
The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office of Emergency Management will continue to monitor the river throughout the winter.
