HOLLAND (WHTC) — Organizers of the 87th annual Tulip Time Festival are looking for floats, marching bands or other unique entries to join the festival’s three parades.
This year, the festival is boasting new parade sponsors, including Crown Motors for the May 11 Volksparade, traditionally led by Michigan’s governor and cthe Tennant community street scrubbing.
Metal Flow is the new title sponsor of the May 12 Kinderparade, expected to feature more than 7 thousand chldren celebrating Dutch heritage and culture.
On May 14, the GMB Muziekparade steps off for a 2-point-4 mile route — Michigan’s longest parade route — with 4 thousand participants.
The deadline to apply for one or more of the parades is Feb. 2, with approval notices announced on Feb. 24.
