HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Holland Sentinel staffers are clearing out offices at their long-time headquarters off of 8th Street.
By Wednesday, the newspaper will be in temporary quarters about half a block away while the building that had housed the Sentinel since 1928 will be renovated. Newspaper owner Gatehouse Media Michigan sold the structure this past fall for half a million dollars, and Geenan DeKock Properties plans to lease smaller second-floor space to the Sentinel while establishing retail space on the first floor.
The newspaper told readers on Sunday that the goal for completing the renovation is before the May 7th start of the Tulip Time Festival.
