HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The Ottawa County Community Action Agency invites you to their annual Walk For Warmth.
For over 28 years, the agency has raised money for individuals and families in Ottawa County who have received a utility shut-off notice. The money raised from the walk will help them with their partnerships to further help the community.
The walk in Saturday February 13th, at City on A Hill, 100 Pine Street in Zeeland. The day will start at 8:30 a.m. with Lemonjello’s coffee, Holland Christian Schools cinnamon rolls and West Michigan Red Cross hot chocolate. Lynn Bruce, Pastor of Operations at Central Wesleyan Church in Holland will be the guest speaker.
According to Mike Stock of the Ottawa County Community Action Agency, some of the local teams include Zeeland High School’s Spanish team and F.I.R.S.T. Robotics, West Michigan Works! will be walking, as well as several other area teams.
