HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – A house party in Holland Township got out of control early this morning when a male suspect got into an altercation and discharged a firearm into the air.
At approximately 1:17 a.m., deputies from the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call at 3192 Eastland Court in Holland Township where a weapon offense had occurred. According to eyewitness accounts, the residents of 3192 Eastland Court had asked a group of people to leave the party.
That same group of people came back a while later looking to fight with the resident. While the group of people was leaving a second time, a man described as Hispanic and heavily tattooed fired several rounds from a semi-automatic hand gun in the air.
The group then fled in either a silver Chevy Impala and/or a black truck that is possibly a Toyota. No one was injured in the incident and no property damage was reported. The incident remains under investigation.
