HOLLAND (WHTC) — Allegan County Sheriff’s Office announced that Martin Public Schools junior varsity basketball coach Raymond Fay Brenner II, 24, has been arrested on suspicion of using social media for criminal purposes.
Brenner was arraigned Monday on two felony charges of accosting a minor for immoral purposes and using a computer to commit a crime, according to Undersheriff Frank Baker, in a statement via email to media on Monday afternoon.
The allegation that Brenner was misusing social media came in a complaint at 2:30 a.m. Sunday, when a police were dispatched to a Martin Township residence. Police indicated Brenner allegedly sent photos and made statements to a player on his team “that were extremely inappropriate,” according to the police statement.
He remains in the Allegan County Corrections Center.
