HOLLAND (WHTC) — A single-car crash killed a woman and seriously injured her passenger, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Jay Douglas.
On Saturday Bobbie Jo Bridges, 24, of Conklin was driving a 2001 Ford Expedition south on 24th Street in Chester Township when she lost control of her vehicle, which traveled across the street, rolled and struck a tree, Douglas said.
Bridges’ passenger, Dane Hinkley, 32, of Conklin was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the SUV.
Hinkley was taken by Aeromed to Spectrum Health Butterworth where he’s in critical condition, Douglas said.
