HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The Holland Rescue Mission is hosting a Huge Book Sale at their Gateway Center.
Rachael Neal, Chief Development and Operations Officer says they have thousands of books featuring everything from novels, history books to design it yourself books. All you have to do is bring your own bag and fill it for $5.
The Mission has purchased the Gateway Center and has major plans for the center. Neal says the center will be a 27,000 square foot thrift store making it the largest resale store in the area. There will also be a donation center with an omnline sales store as well where customers can sell things on consignment for a fee that will support the ministry.
The center will also include a 40,000 square foot training facility in the back of the building for students in their Gateway Academy. The Academy is a 48 week program that offers life coaching, and on the job training for individuals who have come out of homelessness or have struggled with a life controlling addiction.
The sale runs Friday and Saturday February 26th and 27th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Gateway center is located at 661 East 24th Street in Holland.
