HOLLAND (WHTC) — Wet snow and high winds combined to knock out power for nearly 800 Consumers Energy customers along Lake Michigan’s shoreline from New Holland Street to just north of Fillmore Street. In Allegan County, 237 customers were out of power in the East Saugatuck and Hamilton areas. The numbers were drawn from Consumers outage map.
The power outages were resolved by Thursday afternoon.
Consumers’ customers can call the company at 1-800-477-5050 to report a power outage. Consumers cautions people to stay away from downed wires, even if they are not sparking or arcing.
