Saugatuck-Douglas, MI (WHTC) – Two West Michigan cities will change their names for the weekend. O’Saugatuck and McDouglas will be green with the Irish spirit as the Saugatuck/Douglas Convention & Visitors Bureau will be sponsoring a pet themed St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
All creatures great and small are invited to participate in the parade to express their “Irish side.” Prizes will be awarded to the best dressed pets. “Erin Go Bark! People and their Pets” Parade is on Saturday March 12, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in downtown Saugatuck. Prizes will be awarded to the best dressed pets.
Line up for the parade will be at 1:30 p.m. at the Culver Street parking lot next to the Saugatuck Center for the Arts. There will be several pub crawls and different events at various businesses in the area including an Irish breakfast at the Saugatuck Brewing Company.
