HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Holland will trade in their dutch shoes for shamrocks this Saturday at the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
The parade will travel east down 8th Street from the 8th Street Marketplace then head to the corner of 8th Street and College Avenue. Irish dancers, bagpipers, and kilt-wearers are just a few of the parade highlights. Families and individuals wearing green are invited to carry Irish flags in the parade (a limited number of flags will be available at no charge).
The celebration will continue at New Holland Brewing Company and the Curragh Irish Pub with live bands.
You will have a chance to help Community Action House of Ottawa County’s food pantry too. Donated canned fruits and green beans in honor of St. Patrick’s Day will be accepted. Grocery carts will travel the parade route collecting donations.
