HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – A three vehicle crash in Olive Township sent two people to the hospital.
Lori Brinks 67, of Grand Haven and Robert Scoby 57, of Wyoming were at a red light WB on Port Sheldon Road at U.S. 31 when a vehicle driven by Wayne Purchase, 55, of Grand Haven failed to see them stopped. According to Sgt. Dean DeVries of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, Purchase rear-ended the Brinks vehicle which rear-ended the Scoby vehicle.
Brinks suffered minor injuries and was transported to Holland Community Hospital. Purchase was transported to North Ottawa Community Hospital and treated for minor injuries. The sheriff’s office road patrol along with Olive Township Fire and Rescue and AMR Ambulance responded to the scene.
Scoby did not suffer any injuries. All three were wearing their seatbelts.
