HOLLAND (WHTC) — Serious charges have been formally filed against an Allegan County man who attacked his girlfriend with acid, possibly leaving her permanently disabled and disfigured.
53-year-old Gregory Marsman of Fennville has been charged with torture, home invasion and his third domestic assault offense. He has also been charged as a habitual offender, which means he could get life if he is convicted on any of the new charges. http://bit.ly/1U7HF2j
He had apparently been seeing Sheryl Keech for a decade, before he put her in the hospital in critical condition. The acid on her face and in her throat has left her on breathing and feeding tubes, and may have blinded her.
Marsman is being held on $100-thousand bond.
