ZEELAND, MI (WHTC) – Redeveloping buildings with the promise of a liquor license got the go ahead at Zeeland’s City Council meeting last night.
The Holland Sentinel reports that a 6-to-1 vote endorsed the concept of redevelopment liquor licenses. These are extra licenses from the state for businesses in certain districts that invest more than $75,000 or more into their property. Mayor Protem Sally Gruppen was the sole no vote.
The city council can decide at any time during the process to limit the number of redevelopment liquor licenses the paper added.
