According to Sgt. Matt Wilfong is with the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, Kempema says she tried to veer to the right and hit a 2014 Chevrolet van that was turning right from 32nd Avenue onto Quincy. Kempema was trapped in the vehicle and was extricated by Jamestown Fire and Rescue.
The occupants in the other vehicle Robert Appleton, 33, of Muskegon and his passenger Christian Loukes, 27, of Spring Lake were not injured.
